Yet, on Memorial Day weekend, the chefs make the chowder, and the people come...in droves. Spring Art on Park is an artisan market that will also take place during Chowderpalooza. Spring Art on Park features local artists and artisans on Park Street and is free and open to the public. Browse through handmade jewelry, apparel, accessories and more. Taste specialty food and beverages and other handmade goods.

Sugar Slalom: April

The Stowe Sugar Slalom is one of the most recognized alpine races in America. The two-day event can attract over 1,000 avid racers and up to 600 spectators. All participants are invited to dress up in costumes best representing our theme, a Spring Celebration. Originating as a celebration of the arrival of Spring and the tapping of maple trees, the Sugar Slalom is held in a Mardi Gras atmosphere complete with music, barbecue on the hill, fantastic ski racing and festive costumes. To top it all, the race also features a unique Vermont treat, maple syrup on snow, donuts and pickles at the finish. More information on registration will be provided at a later date.

Step back in time for the 4th Annual Vermont Renaissance Faire! This is a two-day event taking place June 22-23, 2019 at the Mayo Events Field in Stowe.
