Summer and Spring in the Green Mountains offer so many other ways to get outside in the fresh mountain air. Thrilling above-timberline hiking, mountain and road biking, horseback riding, fishing, canoeing and kayaking, golf, tennis and soaring. Swimmers love the sparkling streams and lakes and horseback riders gallop through wildflower strewn meadows. Some call it heaven, we call it Stowe.
| Take to the trails and discover the many wonderful views in the Stowe valley. Choose from numerous mountain bike trails or take it easy on the Stowe Recreation Path, a 5.5 mile path that stretches from the Stowe Community Church on Main Street to just past the Topnotch Resort & Spa. The path follows the river and features 10 scenic bridges along the route. |

| Umiak offers kayak, canoe and stand-up paddle-board rentals on the beach at Waterbury Center State Park`s Day Use Area. Umiak also offers paddling instruction in Waterbury.
